GEOPLITICS.FR is an online newspaper founded by Erwan DAVOUX.
It stems from an observation: the French press is no longer truly libre and journalists have often become mere employees forced to write commissioned articles and under close surveillance. The coverage of Gaza and the war in Iran have just proved this once again.
GEOPOLITICS.FR approach all topics with a strong international perspective. Its contributors come from diverse backgrounds and from abroad (journalists, diplomats, military personnel released from the obligation of reserve, researchers, students, doctoral candidates, etc.). And more broadly, anyone with a passion for writing is welcome.
GEOPOLITICS.FR is open to all those who believe that international law, even if imperfect, remains a benchmark and who make the concept of the equal dignity of human life their own.
GEOPOLITICS.FR consider that France must adopt a policy in accordance with the universal values that its rich history has given it and which it claims to embody.
GEOPOLITICS.FR is part of a participatory approach and aims to become a magazine combining open access and paid articles and/or subscriptions. It is, indeed, necessary for the main editors to have the time and means required to accomplish their mission. The authors can come from very diverse backgrounds (journalists, academics, PhD students, diplomats, military personnel, etc.). It brings together those with a passion for writing, a high standard of quality, and a desire for freedom.
